Please observe the following rules governing the use of Myrtle and MHS turf fields:

• No use of the field without a permit from the town or school-system.
• Absolutely no food or drinks other than water are allowed onto the field.
• No chewing gum on the field.
• Only rubber soled flat-bottom shoes or circular cleats are allowed to be worn on the field.  No spikes, no sharp-edged cleats, etc.
• No smoking on the field or in the areas surrounding the field.
• No chairs may be brought out onto the field.
• No pets may be brought onto the field.
• Nothing should be driven into the field (eg. corner flags, portable goal stakes, etc.)
• No spitting on the field.

Metuchen High-School is in the midst of a construction project.  Please observe the following additional rules there:

• Do not leave players unattended at any time.
• Players, parents, refs and coaches should use the marked path to and from the field only. 
• Players, parents, refs and coaches are not permitted in any construction areas at any time.
• Players should wear a second pair of shoes to the field area, then change into soccer shoes.
• The new bleachers are not yet safe.  Stay off them and use the stands on the far side instead.
• No players, coaches or parents will be allowed onto the field with muddy shoes.

From Garden State Parkway, North or South
Use EXIT 131 and bear right onto RT. 27 TOWARD METUCHEN. Continue approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the light at GROVE AVENUE in Metuchen. Make a right onto GROVE AVE., and the high school is just ahead on the right.

Travelling South on U.S. #1
Take the exit to AMBOY AVENUE, RT. 501, west into Metuchen. After several blocks, make a right onto EGGERT AVENUE. EGGERT AVE. eventually becomes GROVE AVENUE. Continue on GROVE AVE. After GROVE AVE. crosses MIDDLESEX AVENUE (RT. 27), the high school is just ahead on the right.

Travelling North on U.S. #1
Take exit to AMBOY AVENUE, RT. 501, west into Metuchen. After several blocks, make a right onto EGGERT AVENUE. EGGERT AVE. eventually becomes GROVE AVENUE. Continue on GROVE AVE. After GROVE AVE. crosses MIDDLESEX AVENUE (RT. 27), the high school is just ahead on the right.

Travelling South on Rt. 27
Once in Metuchen, make a right (at a light) onto GROVE AVE. The high school is just ahead on the right.

Travelling North on Rt. 27
On the Edison/Metuchen border, continue straight through the light at BRIDGE ST. Stay on this road (also known as LAKE ST.) as it winds to the left and enters downtown Metuchen. Continue straight through a few more lights until LAKE ST. intersects ROUTE 27, MIDDLESEX AVE at a light. Make a right at the light. Go through the light at MAIN STREET, and another 0.5 mile to the light at GROVE AVENUE. Make a left onto GROVE AVE. and the high school is just ahead on the right.

From Rt. 22 East or West
Take the PLAINFIELD exit onto SOMERSET STREET (North Plainfield). SOMERSET STREET becomes PARK AVENUE in Plainfield. Stay on PARK AVENUE (pass Muhlenberg Medical Center on the left) until you reach OAK TREE ROAD (McDonald's will be in a shopping center across the street). Make a left onto OAK TREE ROAD and proceed to the second light (GROVE AVENUE). Make a right onto GROVE AVENUE and in a few miles the high school will be on the left.

From the New Jersey Turnpike
Take EXIT 10 (METUCHEN). Bear right onto ROUTE 27 (MIDDLESEX AVE). Continue straight through the light at Bridge St. Stay on this road (also known as Lake St.) as it winds to the left and enters downtown Metuchen. Continue straight through a few more lights until Lake St. intersects ROUTE 27, MIDDLESEX AVE at a light. Turn right at this light and travel
